Meet Wendy Petrie
For 14 years Wendy anchored TVNZ’s flagship 1 News programme, becoming the face of New Zealand television. After losing her job in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic she has adapted to host, chair and speak at summits and conferences that focus on building resilience. Wendy hasn’t gone far from television, filling in on a variety of shows from Breakfast to Seven Sharp and Tonight, enjoying the freedom to show more of her personality.
