Flood recovery fact sheet

On the weekend of the 17th July 2021 areas in Marlborough and Tasman were hit hard by substantial flooding. Many areas include farming communities that have not only lost stock but now face many months of cleanup, feed shortages, pasture renewal and infrastructure repairs. For those in the initial stages, here is a checklist supplied by Beef+LambNZ.

This fact sheet will help you prioritise tasks during the immediate aftermath of a flood. It also provides guidance around what needs to be done in the weeks and months following, particularly if you are dealing with silt and/or slips.
