Happy New Year! We trust you had a wonderful break and are relishing the fantastic weather the Bay of Plenty has blessed us with. As we step into February, we are excited to share the first edition of the BOP Rural Connect newsletter for 2024 with you. Given the new government in place, we encourage you to take note of potential changes to employment laws and stay informed about possible tax adjustments. In this edition, we also highlight the incredible initiatives of Te Puke Young Farmers. We invite you to discover the opportunities they have to offer. Additionally, mark your calendars! You can meet the Rural Support Trust team at the Te Puke A&P Show on February 10 and at the Smoky Zone during the Local Wild Foods Festival in Ohope on February 24. Look forward to seeing you there! We look forward to your continued engagement and wish you a wonderful 2024.
