Harvesting Health Information evening

Harvesting Health Information evening

Rangiora RSA| March 28| 6pm-9pm

Just like keeping your machinery in top working order, looking after yourself is essential for a long and productive season. This hands-on session will help you service your own well-being, giving you the tools to handle the unique challenges of farming life.

Leading the muster are some local legends who’ve spent years helping people perform at their best whether in the paddock, on the field, or in everyday life:

Shane Fletcher - Crusaders Team Manager for 8 years, Shane will host the event, keeping things lively and sharing his insights on managing peak-performing teams.

John Roche - Lead Physiotherapist for the Crusaders and Director of Active Health Rangiora. John will discuss how exercise can positively influence overall health and well-being.

Jo Hopkinson-Haigh - Physiotherapist and mindfulness expert, Jo specializes in teaching breathing techniques that reduce stress, anxiety, and chronic pain.

Special Guest Speaker, Jack Cocks - Farming tests resilience, but nothing prepared Jack for a life-threatening brain injury in 2013. Eight months in hospital and fifteen major surgeries pushed him beyond anything he’d ever faced.

Don’t wait until you’re running on empty, round up your crew and join us for a session that will help you keep both body and mind in top condition.

Tickets are only $20 including a complimentary drink on arrival (beer, wine, or non-alcoholic), canapés throughout the evening, and a goodie bag to take home. The bar will be open for other purchases.

Tickets available by clicking :  https://bit.ly/harvestinghealth2025

All proceeds from the evening will go towards the North Canterbury Rural Support Trust.

This information evening has been made possible with the very generous support from sponsors Mainpower, Fonterra, Rabobank, FMG and Farmstrong.
