Federated Farmers Sharemilking & Contract Milking Workshop - Winton, Southland

Federated Farmers invite new or existing sharemilkers, contract milkers and farm owners to join us for a free workshop about managing risks in farming.

The two-hour session will cover how you can navigate both business and individual risk to set yourself up for a successful dairy farming career.

Industry experts will also walk you through contractual changes, farm assessments, and discuss how you can build and maintain strong working relationships.

Presenters on the day will include:

• Federated Farmers: how to make calculated decisions about contracts
• DairyNZ: Dairybase & business planning calculators
• FMG Insurance: Life, health & contractual insurances
• Rabobank: How to work well with your bank manager

They will also have a panel of experienced farmers sharing their experiences and answering any of your questions.
